250 Years of Standing Firm: The Story Behind Our America 250 Blend

Two hundred and fifty years ago, a handful of people who refused to back down decided to build something that had never existed before. This year, that anniversary lands on top of one of our own: Combat Coffee Bean turns two this July.

I'm Dave. I served as a Marine in the First Gulf War, then spent eighteen years behind the wheel as a long-haul truck driver before I ever got into coffee. Combat Coffee Bean started as a one-person operation with a simple idea: partner with a Roaster Collective to build blends that taste as good as any specialty roaster out there, and use it to give something back to the community that shaped me.

That's why a portion of every purchase goes to the 1 Veteran Foundation, which has trained around 60 PTSD service dogs for veterans since 2015 — without a single loss of life. Every bag we sell is a small vote for that mission.
